Onward to Paperless Government Agencies

The Internet has brought our lives so many conveniences. From access to information, to real-time communication, all the way to e-commerce, the Internet has indeed become a pervasive part of our everyday life. It has come to affect almost all aspects of our lifestyle, changing the way we do things, and enabling us to do many other things that used to be impossible, including something as simple as downloading printable tax forms.

Even the delivery of government service has been positively impacted by the Internet. The United Nations has a term for this-e-Governance, or the use of the public sector by available information and communications technologies to improve the delivery of information and services, with the aim of enhancing citizens participation, and giving the government better accountability, transparency and effectiveness.
